Hello Hello! A little about Kayla!

Hi there, my name is Kayla! I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). I have an amazing husband, along with three dogs, two cats, and three horses (Yess we love our animals here haha).

Fun Facts About Me:

Coffee and I have a bit of a love affaire (shh don’t tell my husband). I also should admit right off the bat that I have a weakness for carbs, I love bread however, it does not love me (ugh). I also love animals and the joy they bring to this life. I love trying new things and traveling.

Heads up!

I am a bit sarcastic at times, I absolutely suck at grammar, and you should expect to find spelling errors. I am not an english major and do not always prof read as well as I should.

Why I Went Into Social Work.

I love to helping people find their way to a happier, kinder, and more authentic self. I believe we all make mistakes, it’s what we do with those mistakes that matters. Mental health is very important and I think that it is under utilized. I think that there is an unwarranted stigma around mental health and want to help break that stigma down.

I believe that we all have the ability to create the life we dream about. However, in order to achieve our goals we need to get out of our own way and I would like to help you with that. Finding Poise is about being able to find balance in all areas of our lives. Finding Poise is a space where I can share mental health topics and tools, food (because who doesn’t love food),  things I love, and topics that I hope will set your soul on fire, as well as a fire under your a** to get moving.

At the end of the day I hope you know that you are the author of your story. You are strong than you think and you are capable of amazing things!
